His Story

Christopher N. Sealey has a passion for ministry. Two areas of focus in his ministry have been teaching the principles of true stewardship and biblical financial management. He is a dynamic speaker, and has a wonderful ability to inform and inspire audiences toward increased levels of commitment to stewardship.

Over the years, he has allowed the Lord to use him in service in several different areas of ministry, some of which include: Pastor, Treasurer, Finance Committee chairman, stewardship leader, and ordained elder. As the Finance Committee chairman, the Lord blessed his efforts to realize the goal of the church burning its mortgage. Using a pledge program he designed, one hundred and five (105) members raised over $80,000 in eleven (11) months.

Pastor Chris has written many articles on stewardship and also served on the Board of Contributing Editors for the Democrat and Chronicle, the leading daily newspaper of Rochester, New York. He has also being featured in the acclaimed Christian publication – Message Magazine. He was born in the beautiful island of Trinidad, West Indies, and has a Master of Ministry with an emphasis in Evangelism and Ministry (Southern Adventist University), a Master of Engineering in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering (Rochester Institute of Technology), and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering (City College, City University of New York). He is also a certified Prepare/Enrich Facilitator for counseling pre-marital (dating, engaged), married, remarried, and retired couples. He and his family make their home in Northern Virginia, where he pastors a three-church district, and is also the Dean of Academic Programs for HopeLives365 Online University.

In a world that is becoming more challenging day by day, Pastor Chris has dedicated his life to promoting the principles of God.

The text in his book is not only about the philosophy of stewardship. It explains time tested strategies, methods, and principles Chris has employed as a treasurer, finance committee chair, church board member, elder, and disciple in the church of God.”
